Each one of us eats a certain combination of food that we simply like to eat or have been told to. Have you ever given a thought for the reasons behind such food-combination? 

How about hacking nutrients by combining foods? The benefit is beyond simply the taste. Here are the food synergies that make a perfect nutrition bet.

 

  1. Tomatoes and olive oil

Tomatoes are rich in pigment lycopene. This is an incredible antioxidant that helps prevent the risk of heart diseases and certain types of cancer. 

Olive oil is a healthy dietary fat rich in omega 3 fatty acids. Cooking or sauteing tomatoes with olive oil helps to enhance the body’s plasma absorption rate of the phytochemical. 

 

  1. Mushrooms with healthy fat 

The low calorie, low cholesterol, gluten-free vegetable Mushrooms are magical because of the enormous health benefits. Apart from carrying B vitamins and minerals, shrooms are rich in ergosterol (pro vitamin. D). This is the only vegetable that can make vitamin D.

Mushrooms are best absorbed when it is combined with healthy fat sources. Cooking it in olive oil or combining it with eggs will add on health benefits.

  1. Grapes and apple : Catechin & Quercetin

You must believe that no single food is an island of nutrients. It works best when taken together. 

Grapes, dark chocolates, and green tea are rich in antioxidants called catechin. While apples, raspberries, buckwheat are rich in flavonoid, quercetin. The pairing of such foods has a protective blend. It helps in preventing the hardening of arteries i.e. atherosclerosis. It also helps prevent platelet aggression.

No matters, how healthy you have been eating. Perfect food synergy determines how much nutrients you really absorb.
